Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour ...
It is up to you to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ and find your salvation. No-one else can be saved for you or forgiven for you. Forgiveness of sins and a new life with God begins when you accept Jesus Christ. No matter what you have done in your past, your future can be changed through Jesus Christ. One prayer will change your destiny.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. "
Romans 10:9-10
Repent of your past sins ...
You need forgiveness. Every one of us has disobeyed God and done wrong in our lives. You may be feeling guilt, shame, or even condemnation for some of the things you have done. You can never find true peace without forgiveness. God is waiting to forgive you, all you have to do is recognise your sins and ask him for his forgiveness and cleansing. He will do it.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9
Receive Christ right NOW! ...
Do you know that tomorrow is not promised to anyone? The only time that you have control over is the time you are enjoying right now. You have no idea what might happen to you in the next five minutes. If you know that you have sinned and need the forgiveness of God, then you need to get saved right now. Repeat the following prayer with a sincere desire in your heart, and you shall be saved:
Heavenly Father, I come before you as a sinner. I know that I have done wrong in my life, I have disobeyed your commands and I have sinned against you. I ask for your forgiveness today. I believe that you sent your son
Jesus Christ, to die for my sin, and raised him back to life, so that I could find healing, cleansing, and
forgiveness through his resurrection. I accept Jesus Christ as my personal saviour, and repent of every sin. Come into my heart, into my life, and save me. I thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
If you meant that from your heart you have now been forgiven of your sin and you have a new life in Jesus Christ.
God supplies all your needs ...
When Jesus Christ comes into your life you will find a new joy and peace. Peace comes from the knowledge that God will neither leave you nor forsake you. He accepts you for who you are. Now you need to rely on God. He has promised to meet all your needs, you don't need to look anywhere else.
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19
There are three things you need to do in order to enjoy a full and rewarding relationship with God.
1. Read the bible. Start off with the Gospel of John in the New Testament. This will give you a good
understanding of who Jesus is and why he came. When you have finished John's Gospel you can read the other Gospels; Matthew, Mark & Luke.
2. Pray. You need to pray to God every day. Prayer is communication with God, and it is this daily prayer that will keep you in tune with God and his plan and purpose for your life. Guidance, healing, strength, and
empowerment all come through prayer.
3. Go to church. Find a church that preaches from the bible and regards the bible as the infallible word of God. A good church will be one that encourages you to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a strong prayer life, and daily reading and obedience to God's word.
